ABOUT DURIBA
Duriba Khan is a Texas based writer and student, with work published across a spectrum of digital media. Her interests include improv, stand-up comedy, filmmaking, reading, pursuing the most cinnamon-y chai latte in the greater Austin area, and discussing politics.
She began writing at the age of nine when she self published horror books and distributed them among her third grade classroom. Since then, she has published fiction, non-fiction, political commentary, lifestyle writing, poetry, and comedy. She is the child of Indian and Pakistani immigrants, born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Austin, Texas. Duriba graduated with her bachelor of science in Political Communications from the University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, she is an incoming J.D. candidate at The University of Texas at Austin School of Law. Currently, Duriba is a writer at Brown Girl Magazine. She also feels uncomfortable writing about herself in the third person. |
